In The News This Month...
Well, old man winter came back to remind us that he's not done with us yet. We got a big dump of snow (about a foot or more), then it got really cold (-35C), then all of a sudden it started to rain! The snow we got earlier melted quicker than it fell!

Enough about the weather. We were hoping to be playing paintball during spring break, but no such luck. There's still lots of snow out there as the wind blew it all out of town to our field. So we're hoping for mid - April.

That's that. Thanks for reading!

Did You Know...

Disney was once sued because a child noticed that in once scene, flying leaves spelled out the word "Sex." (Quite well, actually ... it makes you wonder if it was a mistake.)

Internet Explorer Tip: Quick Stops

Have you ever clicked the wrong link while you were browsing? Don't you just hate that? You frantically try to get your mouse up to the Stop button before you end up at the wrong page, but you don't always make it. So, here's a few suggestions:

If you've clicked the wrong link and still have that left mouse button pressed down, just drag your pointer off the link to a blank spot and release. No harm done.

But what if you've already clicked the link and you're off to the wrong page? Is there any hope? Yes, just hit your Escape key. That will stop your browser in it's tracks. It's also a good way to stop an onslaught of pop up windows.

Windows Tip: Selection Savvy

Ever need to make more than one choice in a list box? (A list box is basically an item by item list. You've probably seen them on web pages or in computer programs you've used.) Here's how:

1. Click the first item on the list you would like to have selected.
2. Next, while holding down the SHIFT key, click the last item you would like selected.

That's it, the first and last selected items are now highlighted, as well as everything in between. OK, so what if you just need specific items selected, not whole sections?

That's easy too. Hold down the CTRL key while making your selections. As long as the CTRL key is down, you can select individual items in a list box.

Note that not all list boxes support multiple selections. You can experiment with this technique using the list of emails in your inbox with a program like Outlook Express.
