In The News This Month...
In about 10 days (give or take) we will be moving our store to our old house as we built a new house recently! Yippee! My husband is gutting the old house and getting it ready for the store and hopefully we will be moving over there soon. I'm pretty excited about it. We will save money on rent, hydro, and I'll be right there at the house. For those of you who work outside the home, you know what it's like to be at work and think about all the laundry, dishes, etc. that are piling up at home and you can't do a thing about it. This way I'll be more efficient at home and will probably get back into creative cooking. Right now I don't even have time to think about what vegetable will go with this meat. It's whatever is in the fridge! I can't wait to move!

So because we are moving our store, we are having a HUGE MIND BLOWING moving sale! Everything 20% off! I would love to be able to send everyone a flier of some sort with everything we have on sale, but that would take days. So if there is something you need in the way of office supplies or fishing gear, drop me a line and I can let you know if we have it.

That's that. Thanks for reading!

Did You Know...

Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying. I did not know that!

Windows Tip: Change File Association

Double click a text file and it will automatically open in Notepad. How do you open the file in Word instead? By changing the default file association for all text files.

A file association is something Windows uses to figure out which program should open a particular file. You can change a file association permanently or for only one instance.

You can change the default file association with these simple steps:

1. Single click a file.
2. Hold the Shift key while right clicking the file.
3. Select "Open with..."
4. Select a program.
5. Place a check mark next to "Always use this program to open this type of tile" if you want to permanently change its file association. Otherwise, this will be a one-time solution. Click OK.

You can use these steps to open a file in almost any program as long as the program supports the file extension. MP3s are one example of why you might want to change a default file association. MP3 players battle for file association without warning you.

Word Tip: Changing Default Tab Stops

By default, Word gives you tab stops one - half inch apart. To change the tabs to one inch (for example), do the following:

Go to the Format menu, Tabs choice.

In the upper left corner, look for the Default tabs stops box. Change the number to your required tab interval, click OK and you're back on your way.

If you want this type of change for all your documents, you will need to make the change in the Normal template.
